RRC 2008 Calendar of Events July-August Web Posting

 

In 2002 - 2003, Federal funding was allocated to support planning and infrastructure development to prepare New York State healthcare systems to respond to bioterrorism, outbreaks of infectious diseases and other public health threats and emergencies.

This resulted in the identification of 8 Regional Resource Centers, (excluding 3 similar centers in New York City), including Strong Memorial Hospital, Champlain Valley Physician Hospital, Erie County Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, University - Hospital / SUNY Health Science Center, Westchester Medical Center, Albany Medical Center and University Hospital Stony Brook.
